Plainview's Water Now State Finalist

Our water district's H2O just was named Downstate's best tasting water.

has been voted Downstate New York's "Best tasting water," and now has a chance at being named New York State's best.

The regional contest was held in at the Museum of Natural History in Manhattan Thursday. Four regional winners were there to compete in the Downstate championship.

A panel of judges voted Plainview the winner, beating out the water of New York City, Westchester and the Suffolk Water Authority.

The now goes on to the state finals, scheduled for Aug. 30 in Syracuse.

Richard, I agree. This road has so many potholes that were fixed, it dips and the county trees haveRead More lifted it up in areas that now hold water. I have ben living here for over 30 years, and I cannot recall it ever being done. It needs to be done soon, I so agree with you. Maybe Mangano will see this and do something, then again if we lived in Bethpage, it would of been done already.
