Plainview Veterans' Advocate Honored

Joe Slattery recognized for his long-time service to veterans.

, of Plainview was recognized by Town of Oyster Bay for completing a year of service to our veterans as President of the United Veterans Organization of Nassau County.

The UVO is the umbrella organization of 31 independent Veterans Organizations representing almost 100,000 Veterans in Nassau County.

Also presenting Citations and Proclamations to Slattery were County Clerk Maureen O'Connell and New York State Assemblyman .
