Question of the Day: Election Day?

Tuesday is Election Day. Anybody care?

Americans will go to the polls Tuesday in what's known as an off-year election dominated by local races.

That is to say, some Americans.

Lots of us will sit this one out, fed up with the system, too busy to be bothered, to disenfranchised to care anymore.

The U.S. voter turnout rate is about 50 percent of the eligible voters in a presidential election year and hovers around 40 percent in non-presidential years. But across the world, for a wide and complex variety of reasons, voter turnout is much higher. The reasons for the variations, even when there is  high-turnout, aren't all positive, according to experts.

So: Are you voting tomorrow, and why?

Is it that your vote feels wasted on politicians who simply won't change a thing on either side of the aisle.
