Question of the Day: Plainview's Parks?

What's your favorite?

There are many parks in Plainview, ranging in size from the expansive  town-owned Plainview-Old Bethpage Community Park on Washington Avenue to the smaller neighborhood parks that dot the community.

Which park in Plainview is your favorite? Why?

What should be done to improve the parks?

Could the community get together to make substantial upgrades to Plainview Park facilities?

Tell us in the comments.

Plainview-Old Bethpage Community Park used to have a delightful path up past the tennis courts and into the wooded area, then down the hill towards the baseball fields, or continuing on to emerge at a small playground. The path deteriorated and was dug up. There was an attempt made to replace it, and have little exercise stops along the path, but it was unsuccessful. Too bad!
