Question of the Day: Same-sex Marriage

It is law in New York State, passed last night in an historic vote.

By a 33-29 margin, the state Senate on Friday night approved the Marriage Equality Act, making New York the largest state in the nation to allow gay marriage. Gov. Cuomo has signed it into law, which takes effect in 30 days.

The Senate gave its stamp of approval to same sex marriages two years after it rejected it by a wide margin.
