Rep. Peter King, R-Seaford, was spotted at the Bellmore Kickboxing Academy Sunday squaring off against mixed martial artist Josh Foley in what was the final meeting before their exhibition match.
The duel will take place Saturday at Mulcahy's in Wantagh at 4 p.m. as a part of Gadiator Promotions' "Battle of the Champions 8." Foley is 5-1-0 in his professional career, and three of his wins have been by knockout.
Until December, King represented part of Plainview and has gone toe-to-toe with political opponents and foreign enemies as Chairman of the powerful House Homeland Security Committee.
