Lots of people are off today; here's what's closed and what's open.

Monday is President's Day, a federal holiday that impacts government institutions, banks and schools. Most retailers are open today.

1. The President's Day holiday means all federal, state and local government offices are closed. Parks and recreation centers are open, however.

4. Plainview schools are closed today, the first day of the winter recess that lasts all week.
