Today's 5: JFK Hosts Back-to-School Night

There's lots happening Wednesday at Plainview JFK, including a host of sporting activities listed in our "Events" calendar. And tonight at 7, it's "Back to School" night, a chance for parents to once again feel the thrill of roaming the hallways without a pass.

1. hosts its annual "Back-to-School" night Wednesday at 7 p.m. This afternoon the girls swimming team and girls soccer team are in action at the high school, as well.

2. We'll have an update on the s proposed 2012 , which keeps taxes at 2011 levels despite an overall increase in spending.

3. The exhibit: Francisco Goya: Los Caprichos" will be on display now through Nov. 27 at the Nassau County Museum of Art. Los Caprichos is a set of 80 etchings by the famed Spanish and are regarded among the most influential series of graphic images in Western art. 4. The Plainview has adopted its goals for the current school year. We'll have a report later today on its plan.
