Plainview Hospital hosts its regular session at 1 p.m.

Strokes can be devastating not only on the victims but on their family members as well. Plainview Hospital has a regular stroke support group that meets Thursday that might offer helpful advice and support.

1.The , hosts its Stroke Support Group Thursday from 1-3 p.m. The group meets on the fourth Thursday of every month in Lecture Rooms A and  B. Those interested in more information can call Joy Harris @ (516) 719 2411.

3.The Conservative Society for Action meets at 7 p.m. Thursday at the . The group discusses current events with a conservative point of view.

4. The exhibit: Francisco Goya: Los Caprichos" will be on display now through Nov. 27 at the Nassau County Museum of Art. Los Caprichos is a set of 80 etchings by the famed Spanish and are regarded among the most influential series of graphic images in Western art.
