Town Board to Meet Tuesday

Not clear whether major issues will surface at Tuesday morning's meeting in Oyster Bay.

The first of two July meetings of the Oyster Bay's town board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday at 10 a.m. in what appears to be a routine agenda.

Several significant issues have come before the board in recent weeks, including safety on the waterfront and lingering debate over town-owned land that was once the subject of a mall project in Syosset.

Neither of those issues appear on the advance agenda for Tuesday's meeting, which has no scheduled public hearings and a series of routine resolutions. You can see the agenda attached to this story.
