Town Hosting Clothing Drive Saturday, Sunday in 3 Locations

Big turnout to these events Saturday afternoon. Clothing drive will help people who are need.

On Saturday and Sunday from 12-5 p.m., the Town of Oyster Bay will hold a drive where residents can pick up and drop off clothing.

Those donating are encouraged to bring adult and children’s clothing, shoes, blankets, coats and children’s toys. The drive will be held at the Oyster Bay Community Center on Church Street in Oyster Bay, Woodbury Community Park, and Marjorie R. Post Community Park.

“I’m hopeful that providing residents in their time of need will go a long way toward making the current situation we all find ourselves in a little more tolerable, as clean-up and restoration efforts progress,” Supervisor John Venditto said.
