Alumni Assist JFK Seniors in 'College 101' Program

More than 30 grads return to Plainview to tell seniors about the transition.

Plainview JFK High School recently held its annual Alumni Q&A Day, an event that serves to kick-off the high school’s annual "College 101" programming.

More than 30 POBJFK alumni returned to their alma mater to serve on panel discussions in Health 12 classes. The discussions, which were moderated by high school counselors, were designed to help current seniors ease the transition to life after high school.

The panelists discussed a wide range of topics including roommates, commuting to college, doing their own laundry and handling the college workload.
