Oyster Bay Town Councilwoman Rebecca Alesia recently visited the Plainview-Old Bethpage Kindergarten Center as part of the 2013 PTA Parents as Reading Partners (PARP) Program,.
Alesia, who lives in Plainview, was helping to promote increased literacy among children. She read to Ms. Laykind’s kindergarten class, and this year’s theme was “surf into a good book.”
