District Congratulates JFK Students at County Comptroller's Challenge

The JFK students combined to win more than $7,500 in prize funds

Two Plainview-Old Bethpage's John F. Kennedy High School student-teams were recently awarded second and third place at the 2nd Annual Nassau County Comptroller’s Entrepreneurial Challenge.

More than 200 business students competed in the event, which required students to create a mock business plan at the proposed Nassau Coliseum Plaza.

The students’ plans included business philosophies, target markets, marketing plans, pricing, employee structure and more.  The students presented their innovative business plans to a panel of judges that included county officials and local business owners.
