This workshop will provide information on how to access and use the services that can help you and your family.  You will find out what resources and programs are out there, the eligibility requirements, how to enroll, and the guidelines and limitations.

Bianca Nunez, Nutrition Outreach and Education Program Counselor with the Health & Wellness Council of Long Island, will provide information on SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program - formerly Food Stamps).

Susan West, Consumer Advocate from National Grid, will present information on specific income eligible programs, including HEAP, and the role of the advocate.
