Sen. Kemp Hannon, R-Garden City, congratulated Lauren Prince of the Plainview Old Bethpage High School for as the recipient of his Youth Leadership Award.
Open to all sophomores and juniors in the sixth senate District, the Youth Leadership Award was created to honor outstanding students in five leadership categories: academic, athletic, community, school, and overall.
Lauren was named a winner in the "community" category.
