Holy Trinity Cheerleaders Take 2nd in National Competition

Varsity travels to Orlando for 'Contest of Champions'.

The Holy Trinity Varsity Cheerleaders traveled to Orlando, Fla., from March 1 – 4, to compete at a national competition, the “Contest of Champions” and placed second in their division.

After submitting a video from a regional competition held at Hofstra University, the Holy Trinity cheerleaders went to compete at the ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World in Orlando.

The team of 14 girls competed against 12 other teams in their division from as far away as Hawaii and Alaska. The routines required a combination of stunting and gymnastics, which demanded hours of practice time.
