Nassau Legislator Judy Jacobs, D-Woodbury attended the Parents As Reading Partners event at Pasadena Elementary School in Plainview on Jan. 11.
As part of the program, Jacobs read, “Oh The Places You’ll Go” by Dr. Seuss and an assortment of poems by Shel Silverstein.
“One of the most special times for me is when I share my thoughts on being a Legislator and the love of reading with the children,” Jacobs said.
