JFK High School Provides Work Experience with Life Stills Program

Special education students picked up the opportunity to gain valuable experiences in the workforce through the Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District’s John F. Kennedy  High School Life Skills Program.

The program allows students to connect with local businesses in a work-study relationship to gain valuable work experience to prepare them for life after high school.

Recently, JFK student Freddie Cooke participated in the work-study program at the newly-opened Modell’s Sporting Goods in Plainview.
