JFK Presents "Rehearsal for Murder"

Opening Friday night, Plainview's Drama Cadets offer up a murder mystery, directed by Richard Olivari. See the complete cast list here.

High School's are about to knock 'em dead in more ways than one.

The school's talented team of actors and crew members will present at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 18 and 19, at the JFK auditorium.

This mystery thriller centers on a troup of actors who gather to learn who was guilty of committing a crime many years earlier. A year after his fiancée's death, a playwright schedules a rehearsal for his new play, which proves to be a trap.

The script, written by Richard Levinson and William Link, won a 1983 Edgar Award from the Mystery Writers of America for their work. It is based on the 1982 TV-Movie.

The play is produced and directed by a 6th grade teacher at who has spent a quarter-century leading the young actors of Drama Cadets. The play's student director is Keith Weiss.

Advanced Reserved Seating is $12; reserved seating at door is $15.
