A Plainview Old Bethpage JFK High School freshman's haunting poster about the dangers of drunk driving has won an award from the New York AAA.
Kyle Supan, received an Award of Merit in the organization's annual New York Traffic Safety Video and Poster Contest.
About 1,600 students entered the contest. Kyle's poster depicts empty liquor bottles placed next to a coffin with the message "The Worst Part About Drunk Driving is...The Mourning After."
The contest is designed to let express their creativity and aims to teach them about traffic safety issues.
