John F. Kennedy Students Honored for Achievement in American Sign Language

Congratulations went to 20 John F. Kennedy High School students in the Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District were recently inducted into the American Sign Language Honor Society.  

During the induction ceremony, students communicated to their audience through sign language, and two students additionally signed the lyrics of an entire song.  

The inductees also explained to attendees how ASL has enhanced their lives, and how it has given them the ability to communicate in a unique forum.
