Mattlin Middle School Students Perform 'The Wizard of Oz'
Students reenact the famous journey of Dorothy and her friends.
The Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District’s Mattlin Middle School drama club recently performed a theater rendition of the popular film, The Wizard of Oz.
The performance depicted Dorothy and the adventures of her friends, including the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion.
Students who participated in the performance learned a variety of entertainment aspects, including stage presence, stage direction, set design and promotion.
