Nor'easter Blows Across Long Island with Heavy Rain

The National Weather Service is predicting that the heavy overnight rains will eventually end this morning, but that driving may be hazardous due to road flooding.

1.The heavy weather, actually a Nor'easter, could drop as much as one inch per hour of rain in some bands along with strong winds. The rain is expected to taper off by Monday afternoon. Showers are possible into Tuesday. Localized flooding is likely.
