NYSSSA Accepts JFK Students to Summer Music Program
Plainview-Old Bethpage students excel in music education program.
Four Plainview-Old Bethpage School District’s John F. Kennedy student-musicians were recently accepted into the New York State Summer School of the Arts (NYSSSA) program based on their exceptional talent and musical accomplishments. As part of the NYSSSA program, the students will study and enhance their skills from members of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
The District congratulates the following students for earning this tremendous honor: Crystal Kim, cello; Matthew Leo, percussion; Jessica Herman, viola and Max Naftol, bass instrument.
