Photo of the Day: Heart-Felt

Mattlin students make hearts to share messages of peace with classmates and members of the armed services.

Students at the took part in an original program where they designed and decorated hearts to share with their classmates and members of the United States armed forces.

The program, called ‘Mattlin Happy Hearts’ was coordinated by the MAP program. The hearts will be presented around the school and sent to U.S. troops.

Mattlin Middle School's administrators and teachers have focused on a school environment that fosters friendships, happiness and peace, teachers and administrators said.
