The Plainview-Old Bethpage PTA Council's blood drive Monday garnered more than 100 pints of blood, a life-giving resource much needed in the community.
The semi-annual blood drive, done in conjunction with the Red Cross, was attended by more than 120 people who offered to give of themselves. The all-day event was held at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School: in the Bloodmobile by day and in the POBMS cafeteria at night.
The event was once again co-chaired by , and, members of the PTA Council, and a host of other volunteers.
