Plainview Art Honor Society Capture Athletics in Paintings
Gymnast-Inspired Paintings Featured at Nassau County Championship.
Plainview JFK's National Art Honor Society students recently created colorful paintings for the Nassau County Gymnastics Championship.
In a unique combination of athletics and the arts, students Adrian Kim, Bing Ying Xia, Samantha Steinwald, Christina Billias, Farrah Su, Danielle Apfel, Brooke Holman and Lauren Liebersten painted gymnast-inspired panels that were featured at the competition on Feb. 12.
