Plainview DECA Students Meet with Jacobs

Discuss business projects that will be entered in state competition.

DECA students from Plainview JFK High School met with Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs, D-Woodbury, to discuss their award-winning projects.

The students based their DECA project on the importance of entrepreneurship.

"It was extremely interesting to learn from the students," Jacobs said. "They spent many hours interviewing people and preparing for their project.

The Plainview students will now take their projects into state competition.

"They are just a terrific group of young people who represent our future," Jacobs  said.

Richard, I agree. This road has so many potholes that were fixed, it dips and the county trees haveRead More lifted it up in areas that now hold water. I have ben living here for over 30 years, and I cannot recall it ever being done. It needs to be done soon, I so agree with you. Maybe Mangano will see this and do something, then again if we lived in Bethpage, it would of been done already.
