Plainview Graduation is Sunday

Plainview's senior prom was Thursday night and seniors graduate on Sunday. Let us share the joy with you on Patch. Send us your photos of this big weekend in your kids' lives.

1. Plainview's senior prom weekend began last night and we have lots of new photos to post today. We want your photos.  Patch wants to run them all, including shots from the prom itself and even from the weekend's festivities at parties or the shore.

2. Plainview Seniors will graduate at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Tillis Center on the C.W. Post Campus.

3. We'll be looking for new developments in the that took place Monday night near Jamaica Avenue School. Police and local public officials have assured the public that the victim was known to the assailants and that others in the community are not threatened by this incident. 4. Plainview's synagogues welcome Shabbat tonight. Why not joinof the Manetto Hill Jewish Center for services tonight at 8 or Shabbat morning at 9:30 a.m. Hear the charismatic lead the congregation in song and prayer.

5. Meanwhile,  's popular "Rockin' Shabbat" is from 7:30–9 p.m.  is holding an "Open House" Shabbat tonight at 8. The 's Shabbat services are at 6 and 7 p.m.
