Plainview JFK's High School Orchestra recently hosted the 17th Annual Exchange Concert, teaming up with musicians from Suffolk County. Elwood-John Glenn High School.
The Plainview students joined with students from the Elwood-John H. Glenn String Orchestra. The students live 25 miles from each other but share a common love of music.
There were a total of 129 musicians on stage to present concerts to their communities, put aside their cross-county rivalry and share a fine performance of Richard Meyer’s “Vanishing Point.”
