Plainview Prom 2012 in Photos
Hundreds attend gala pre-prom gathering at JFK; it's your turn to upload photos from the big event.
Plainview's young men and women, dressed in sharp tuxedos and stunning evening wear, came together at Thursday night for a pre-prom, limousine-lined gathering.
The photos best tell the story of Plainview's, which followed the outdoor photo opportunity and cupcake social. The pre-prom party at the high school was begun only last year. This year's event, held on a hot, muggy evening, still drew hundreds of students, parents and community members.
It was sponsored by the Volunteers passed out ice cold bottles of water to keep the young people hydrated in the heat.

In buses and limousines, the prom-goers departed from the high school for the Floral Terrace in Floral Park for the dinner and dancing.
