Plainview Students Get College Survival Training

Returning alumni tell seniors about what to expect in the next phase of their education.

recently hosted a "College Survival Seminar for 12th grade students, an ongoing effort to prepare students for their upcoming challenges.

Recent John F. Kennedy graduates from colleges across the country returned to the high school to lead panel discussions with current students. The 16 POBJFK graduates offered helpful advice on topics ranging from balancing academics and extracurriculars to living independently for the first time.   

This is the second event in John F. Kennedy’s new College 101 programming series, designed to provide current students with the resources they need to make a successful transition to college life.
