Plainview Students Place Third in Medical Marvels Competition

Plainview-Old Bethpage students from John F. Kennedy High School enrolled in the independent research program recently won third place in the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System’s 2nd Annual Medical Marvels Competition.  

The ninth and tenth grade students placed third for their emergency response plan to a Category 3 hurricane scenario, including public policy, medical support and the implementation of technology.  

The students were among 22 teams from Long Island who competed in the Medical Marvels competition.

The Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District congratulated the following students for earning this distinction: Elizabeth Stein, Tal Moriah, Maria Coakley, Mary Lou O'Donnell, Elizabeth Roth, Allison Kwon and Michael Morgenthal.
