Plainview Students' Work Displayed at Tilles Center

Young artists honored at reception attended by Roger Tilles.

Plainview-JFK's talented young artists have been honored as part of an exhibit at the Tilles Center.

The reception for the exhibit, entitled the "Colored Pencil Extravaganza" was attended by Roger Tilles, who spoke with the students.

The exhibit is in an area that will be seen by all visiting performers.

"It was a incredible showing of talent," said Dr. Lorna Lewis, superintendent of Plainview's schools. "He spoke about the need to preserve the arts and complimented Plainview-Old BethpageOB on demonstrating support of the arts."
