Each week, Plainview Patch will feature one student from the community who has done something special. This week's is high school senior Zachary Goldberg.

Accomplishment: Goldberg has recently been accepted to Syracuse University as a Coronat Scholar. He was also chosen for All County music this year after playing the bass for nearly a decade.
Key to Awesomeness: This talented young man dedicates a good deal of his time to the Plainview community. Within his school district, Goldberg tutors younger students in Spanish, chemistry, earth science and global studies.
Outside of school, he works as a lifeguard at and Driftwood Day Camp, and Goldberg also volunteers at the reading on the High Holidays and Goldberg has also participated in all eight drama and musical productions since his freshman year at the high school.
