Twenty-six professionals who will retire at the conclusion of the 2013-2014 school year were honored at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District’s Board of Education meeting on Monday.
“We appreciate the dedication, passion and commitment that our retirees have provided our students and community over the years,” said Dr. Lorna Lewis, Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District superintendent of schools.
“We will certainly miss all of their contributions to the District and wish them all the best in their retirement,” she added
The district congratulated the following retirees: Fran Leiboff, Kathy Abbene, MaryAnna Buynak, Ellen Felber, Susanne Ferrara, Roger Geddes, Carol Levine, Gale Pine, Lorraine Spaterella, Genevieve Spelman, Marcia Turletsky, Robin Zacharius, Teresa Aiello, Sandra Berman, Harriet Fischer, Marie Kelian, Gino Corrado, Doug Edmonds, Laurence Meyerson, Michael Poitevien, Anna Macaluso, Patricia Maniscalco, Arlene Maupin, Rose Linda Pingitore, Lisa Razon and Dianne Schnur.
