Plainview-Old Bethpage Schools Honor Tenure Recipients

The Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District recently honored 14 newly tenured school district professionals at a Board of Education meeting.

“These recipients have proven themselves to be outstanding educators in their respective fields, and have therefore earned the distinction of being awarded tenure in our district.” said Dr. Lorna Lewis, Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District superintendent of schools, in a statement.  

“We congratulate them with the expectation that they will maintain a tradition of excellence in our classrooms,” she added.

The district congratulated Tara Castagna, Pamela Ghents, Colleen Curtis, Brian Plouffe, Stephen McDade, Michael Loicano, Abbey Portnoy, Catherine Riley, Carolyn Pedersen, Janese Pfeiffer, Kristen Ropke, Kathryn Falbo, Perri Lynn Gass, and Denise Misiti.
