POB's John F. Kennedy High School Class of 2014 Graduates

Plainview-Old Bethpage Schools held its commencement ceremony for the John F. Kennedy School Class of 2014 at Long Island University-C.W. Post’s Tilles Center on Sunday.

Keynote speakers Rep. Steve Israel, D-Huntington, and New York State Board of Regents Member Roger Tilles addressed the 373 graduating seniors.  

JFK High School’s Class of 2014 Valedictorian Reva Butensky, Salutatorian Nicolette Almer, Senior Class President Andrew Katz and Student Government President Ben Chasan shared words of wisdom to their fellow classmates.

JFK High School’s senior choir performed. In addition, senior members from the school’s American Sign Language program signed along with the choir for one musical selection.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, students traditionally tossed their caps into the air.
