School Board's Year-End Session Monday

On the agenda are student awards and a presentation from the drama department

The school board will hold its final meeting of the school year Monday night at Plainview JFK High School.

1. The Plainview-Old Bethpage meets in public session tonight at 7 p.m. at Plainview JFK High School. It has a busy agenda that includes lots of year-end business and student awards and presentations. (Note: both the start time and the location are different than usual.)

3. Nearby , is holding free prostate screening for men over 40 today from 3-5 p.m. Lecture included; no appointment required. Bring two stamped envelopes, one self-addressed and one addressed to your physician.

4. A new exhibit at the features the sculptures and dramatic black and white photographs of: Robert Hite: Imagined Histories, an exhibition in the museum’s Contemporary Gallery and Art Space for Children on view through Sept. 4.
