Two classes from in the Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District recently performed a Broadway classic, “The Lion King.”
Third grade teacher Mrs. Ruth Dubrow and fourth grade teacher Mr. Joe Sidito, along with special education teachers Mrs. Celeste Wenzel and Mrs. Jen Keiler, produced the performance and directed the third and fourth grade student cast.
Throughout the school year, the students have been studying topics with a “Circle of Life,” theme (the title of one of the show's biggest hits) which culminated with their performance of “The Lion King”.
