Today's 5: Entertaining Options

There's a cappella singing at the high school; the Harlem Wizards at the POB Middle School

There are a host of entertainment options this week, including two events tonight at Plainview schools that will be hard to choose between:

On Friday:

1. plays host two two performances Friday of an evening of a cappella singing. See Plainview's own "Acafella's" and the "Rolling Tones" tonight at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. at the high school. It's $10 in advance; $12 at the door.

2. Meanwhile, the Harlem Wizards bring their hard-court magic to Plainview Middle School for a benefit game against some of Plainview's teachers, students and coaches. Tickets for the 7 p.m. game are available on-line at www.harlemwizards.com.; $10 in advance; $15 at the door.

Richard, I agree. This road has so many potholes that were fixed, it dips and the county trees haveRead More lifted it up in areas that now hold water. I have ben living here for over 30 years, and I cannot recall it ever being done. It needs to be done soon, I so agree with you. Maybe Mangano will see this and do something, then again if we lived in Bethpage, it would of been done already.
