Update: Power Outages Cancel Middle School Move-In

Due to power outages and closures at , the fifth and sixth grade locker move-in has been cancelled for tomorrow, according to the website.

Both the Middle School and are closed because of a power failure. The offices for those schools have temporarily moved to

Hurricane Irene closed the district to halt all activities Monday.

Next Wednesday is the first day of school, with full day classes for all grades except kindergarten, which is a half day.

The district office could not be reached by phone Wednesday evening, with calls immediately going to the district's voicemail retrieval system. Patch is checking to see when the middle school move-in plans will be rescheduled.
