Culture Fair Brings World to Students

About 200 students at POB Middle School took part in a free-wheeling exhibition about the cultures of the world.

About 200 Plainview Students took part in Plainview's World Culture Fair Thursday at the Plainview Middle School.

On display were food, costumes and customs of countries from around the world, all presented by 7th and 8th grade students at Plainview Middle School.

The remarkable event was directed by the district's Foreign Language Department as part of New York's "Foreign Language Week."

Patch will have a complete story Friday morning.

I had a great time at this today. I'll be writing about the event in depth tomorrow. Thanks for having me, POB Middle School and the Language Department.

My child was one of the participants in the fair. I was wondering when you would be posting all of the pictures and your entire article.
