Race is to benefit the Plainview and Syosset Hospital and is held in conjunction with the North Shore LIJ Health Care System.

All runners will be eligible for a drawing for a 19" flat screen TV.

Run through local streets, children's run at 8:20 a.m.

$20; $25 race day; online registration available

I have ben living here for over 30 years, and I cannot recall it ever being done. It needs to be done soon, I so agree with you. Maybe Mangano will see this and do something, then again if we lived in Bethpage, it would of been done already.
