PAL Looking For Players, Coaches and Refs

Plainview PAL is looking for players and coaches for the fall season.

Basketball, hockey and golf. Plainview PAL has it all.

The non-profit organization, the Nassau County Police Activity League (PAL) has announced the upcoming registration dates for the fall sports season.

Registration for girls and boys basketball can be made in person only on Mon. Oct. 1 and Thurs. Oct. 4 from 7-9:30 p.m. at Howard B. Mattlin Middle School Cafeteria. The registration fee is $90 per child and can be made through check or money order payable to Plainview PAL.

Girls in grades 1-7 and boys in grades 1-10 are open to register. Both girls and boy season run simultaneously, from January to April. 

Floor hockey is available for children in grades kindergarten through eighth grade. Registration fee is $85 per child.

Golf is available for grade 1-8. For more information, contact: po.worth@nassaucountypal.org 

PAL is currently looking for basketball referees and scorekeepers. Inquiries for Plainview residents in grades 9-12 are being accepted at palbrefs@gmail.com.

Coaches and assistant coaches are needed for both floor hockey and basketball. Submit inquries for floor hockey positions at: PlainviewPalhockey@gmail.com and at PlainviewPALBasketball@ hotmail.com for basketball positions.
