Plainview Cheerleaders Excel in Regional Competition
Junior varsity takes first place, varsity takes third in regional competition.
Plainview JFK High School's junior varsity cheerleading squad recently won first place at the Spartan Club Cheerleading Varsity Competition held at Valley Stream North High School.
The school’s varsity cheerleading team also came in third place competing against 10 teams.
The District congratulates the following team members on their outstanding performance at the competitions:
Junior Varsity: Joanna Cheng, Stephanie Pollino, Temima Shames, Michaela Groveman, Arianna Grossfeld, Olivia Anderson, Megan Ryan, Talia Blum, Julia Kolodny, Alana Azougi, Logan Kusinitz, Madison Weiser, Ashleigh Friedell, Victoria Tramontana, Lindsay Beckerman, Leyna Friedman, Melanie Gulbas, Cassandra Resnick, Jillian Colubow and Jenna Shapiro.
