After a season that saw the Plainview JFK boys varsity soccer team go (4-5-3) in Conference II action, what can the Hawks do to expand upon their success this year?
The Hawks get back into action this season with two home games to open the season. Plainview will host Freeport on September 9th in a non-league game and Hicksville on September 14th in their first league game of the year.
Hicksville was undefeated last season before being upended by Farmingdale in the Class AA semifinals at Hofstra University. Plainview will be thrown right into the fire as Hicksville will be the first league opponent on the 2011 schedule.
