More than 270 teams from around the tristate area and beyond played the first rounds of the Peter Renzulli Labor Day Tournament Saturday in Huntington.
The tournament was a full day for many; some families reported arriving as early at 7 a.m. and were still on the field, waiting for one youngster or another, at 5 p.m. Wtih warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine, many kept out of the heat under tents or umbrellas.
Though rain is expected, families will be out on the field again Sunday, as games continue across several fiels around Huntington.
