Youth Soccer Team Plays on New Turf Field
Young team runs some drills at halftime on the new playing surface.
Young members of the Plainview-Old Bethpage "U-8" Youth Soccer Team got a thrill recently when they got to play on the community's new turf field.
At halftime of the Plainview JFK varsity squad's game, the young people went out onto the new field with their coach, Mark Silverman. The girls kicked around a few soccer balls and completed some drills.
The young girls reported being thrilled to be on the high school field and then cheered Lady Hawks from the stands.
